I was interested in this book already, but after reading your review it has moved to the top of my "must have" list.
In answer to your question, I would like to read this book, because I enjoy reading books that the characters come to life in and are real to me.

Greetings from Italy!
I'd love to win "Matrimony" by Joshua Henkin for 2 reasons:
1) I live in a small town, and we have very few good English books in our bookstores. And it's a pity because there are so many people who are willing to read in English.
2) Because "Matrimony" is about love, friendship... And this is what I love to read about :)

I'd really love to win this book.

I want to read this book because it sounds like a nice one. I love to read about relationships and the likes, which, from your review, are all in this book.

Why do I want to win and read this book? The cover, the title, and because anything that realistically examines marriage and relationships is something that I am interested in.

Why do I want to read this book? The long answer involves respectable reviews and a deep, abiding love of character-driven narrative, but it is fairly boring so I'll spare you. The short answer is this: books are meant to be read, and I was meant to read them. Some more than others.
Thanks for the chance!
